dEEGtal builds on the recent advances in artificial intelligence to help interpreting electroencephalographic signal. Following a possible first seizure, in up to 50% of the cases the work-up fails to provide a diagnosis, leaving the patients untreated, at high risk to suffer from another seizure. To provide a better chance for patients to be diagnosed and treated immediately, we are developing dEEGtal, an AI-powered, automated EEG reading tool. This technology will be able to help neurologists diagnose epilepsy faster, providing the patients a with a better chance to remain seizure-free.
